1st June 2014 Windsurfing: The Dip-Felixstowe Wind Direction: e Wind Stength: 8/10 Surf / Sea State: lumpy Air Temperature: 17 Sea Temperature: 12 Weather: sunny Max Speed: 13.91 (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: 16 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) What a top weekend considering no wind forecast !!! after yesterdays 5 hour bike ride we started today with a bike ride to Landguard where we sat by the River Orwell and had our breakfast :) We managed to collect 2k of coal of the beach and yet another bag of rubbish left on one of the best beaches in Felixstowe by dozy fisherman !!! :( How difficult is it to take your rubbish home ??? people jusy don't care - no hope for the world as poeple have a total lack of respect and only think of themselves :( As we biked home the breeze seemed to have filled in so I took my kit to The Dip and rigged the raceboard. The wind was half a force off a 5 star day !!! You could get going with the plate down and it was good fun heading a little way up the River Deben and then reach down to the Fludges - a lap I did twice :) nice to be out in the sunshine with loads of yachts :) The wind eased off and I came ashore as Swainy came down with his 2 boys and we enjoyed watching them out on a windsurfer and canoe :) The only downside was a stupid dog owner let his dog mess a foot from my sail on the beach and then didn't clean it up - no bags he said !!! What an idiot, also loads of dog owners just let their dogs run out of control on the beach and I have already had one sail damaged by dogs !!! Thats enough of my moaning !!!
